Your ticket entitles you to $1 million in gaming chips! We’ll have plenty of gaming tables, with professional croupiers taking your bets at Black Jack, Roulette, Crowns and Anchors and more! The Bar will be stocked, Delicious food will be available for purchase, and you could snap up some great bargains at our Live and Silent Auctions.

Numbers are limited, so get your group together, and book asap to be part of this popular Herne Bay Ponsonby Rackets Club event.

This is our main fundraiser for the year, and we’re hoping that every club member will chip in to make this a great success.

Teams will be drawn up over the weekend, so this is your last chance to register!

2017 Squash Auckland Excellence Awards

Herne Bay Ponsonby Rackets Club will host the 2017 Squash Auckland Excellence Awards on Saturday, 11 November from 5–7pm at the clubhouse.

This is where we recognise outstanding achievement, performance, and service in the Auckland squash community over the past 12 months (between 1 October 2016–30 September 2017).

Friday junior night

Get your child along to junior club night this Friday 4-6pm with club squash pro Mike Weston. Junior Club Night is free for members and $10 for non-members (juniors bring your squash-playing friends — rackets can be provided). Food is available from the club cafe from 6pm, so parents join the fun, stay for a drink at the bar and feed the kids dinner at the cafe.

Pilates on the court

Pia will be holding Pilates Mat Classes on Squash Court 1 every Monday and Thursday morning at 9.30am. She has been trained through Polestar Pilates NZ and has been practicing for 7 years.

Pilates is a full-body exercise that will strengthen and balance your body. It is for everyone, including elite athletes, the injured, seniors, pregnant women and everyone in-between. All will be catered for in the class.

We are offering a special introductory price of 5 classes for $50 available to all members of the HBPRC. Non-members are welcome too! 5 classes for $75 for non-members. Cash and Credit Card (no eftpos) available.

Cafe at the club

This Friday night the cafe will once again open at 6pm offering a delicious range of items for kids and adults. All welcome to come down and sample the menu, especially if the kids are doing the tennis or squash juniors evening. Now that the evenings are starting to get a little longer the addition of some quality food makes the bar an even more attractive propostition for a place to wind down on Friday evening. Some delicious meals seem to have found their way onto our Facebook posts. See you there!
