The squash courts have recently seen a number of players wearing black soled shoes at various stages throughout the day, and in the past similar shoes have been seen on the tennis courts. Unfortunately these types of shoes can damage our courts and may leave substantial rubber marks and residue on the courts. These marks are difficult to clean off and hence please don't be offended if you are asked to change your shoes, however the club will no longer tolerate ANY BLACK SOLED SHOES on either the squash or tennis courts.
Appropriate shoe wear is available from David Mustard in the Pro-Shop, and please feel free to ask David or Jacqui (Club Manager) which type is deemed the appropriate footwear in either code.
