Mustard results...

Jacqui and I really enjoyed the experience of going to the World Teams & Individual Tennis Champs in Florida. Again we would like to thank those at the club and individuals who supported us financially. It was much appreciated and helped greatly towards our expenses.

In the Men’s 55’s teams event -  we finished 15th out of 23 teams and Jacqui’s team – Women’s 50’s finished 5th from 19.

In the individual Championships, John Lawrence and I got to the quarter finals of the men’s doubles, losing to the top seeds.

In the latest ITF Senior World rankings – Im ranked 21 in 55 Doubles and 189 in the Singles and Jacqui is ranked 112 in 50 Doubles – both ranked the highest in NZ.

What was an eye opener were the facilities, both tennis and golf complexes were rated top 10 in America.

Three things we will remember from this trip is the humidity, palm trees and the tennis enthusiasts.

Thanks David & Jacqui
