Hi all, hope you've struggled through the long week ok... A big welcome to several new members this month! Also what an awesome Squash tournament was had last weekend - well done to Jason and the team on pulling that together. Squash interclub started this week so good luck to all our teams. Come on tennis players, don't let the colder weather keep you away! We're continuing on with Winter interclub, Club Nights and a brand new competition below, so no excuse to farewell the blue courts...

Don’t hang up those tennis rackets just yet – we have something that might just keep you warm during the next few months…..
We are looking for 3-player teams (2 men & 1 lady). Eight teams will play over 7 weeks; 1 men’s doubles and 2 mixed doubles, each match is played first to 9 games.
Starts at 7pm and finishes at 9.30pm. Entry fee is $15.00 each or $45.00 per team per week.
- Monday competition starts May 12th for Men & Women’s Open 2 and above.
- Wednesday competition starts May 14th for Men & Women Open 3 and below.
4 Player teams – can be any combination but remember you might get a handicap? Depending on your level – we might start you on a HANDICAP ie +15 or -15.
Teams to play over 7 weeks. Each player has 3 matches of eight games.
Saturday competition starts May 17th 1pm to 4.30pm. Entry fee is $15.00 per player and includes BBQ.
Each week there will be spot prizes and at the conclusion of the competition prizes for the Winning and Runner Up team.
Numbers are limited – so first in first served, If you are unsure of your grading we can help you out. Email us at mustardtennis@xtra.co.nz. Enter as an individual or as a team and let us know which competition you or your team want to play in – we need your name or team name and players names and a contact mobile number.
Club Night caterer Allie returns on 8th May to provide her fabulous meals. Allie needs to provide 15 meals each night so please come on down and support her and the Club and make Club Night really special.
For those of you who are new or haven't had Allie's specialties, it's worth coming down for - nevermind working it off on the courts beforehand! SO, bring a mate and come for a cheap and fantastic eat next Thursday night.
