Presidents Update
UP Real Estate Casino night
Thanks to members for their quick response to our Unlimited Potential Real Estate casino evening.
We have secured quite a few prizes already thanks to David Mustard / Andrew Berryman / Mike Silva / Brian Plummer / Martin Draper / Paul Gardiner / Wayne Knights and myself.

We still need at least 20 mystery envelope prizes (retail value of approx $70) and a couple more premier prizes for the premier gamers on the night (retail value approx $250) so if you or anyone you know can help let Leanne know in the office.
We also need Club members to start committing to tickets for Friday 30 July. Please contact Leanne or pay for them over the bar. $25 gives you $1,000,000 worth of chips. Club fundraising is a great cause and we will use the night to assist fund Clubroom improvements.

Teams events
Good luck to all Herne Bay teams competing in Super Champs this week. Hopefully we can win some loot and come out victorious in a couple of grades. If you want to support your Club and cheer on your Club mates I am sure they would love to see you come along and support them.
B grade ladies are at Eden Epsom starting Friday night.
C grade ladies are at Panmure commencing Wednesday night ,and E grade ladies Browns Bay commencing Thursday night.
C grade mens - we have 2 teams competing and they start Wednesday at North Shore.
D grade mens is at Royal Oak commencing Wednesday and E grade at home commencing Thursday.
Finals are at Eden Epsom on Sunday and hopefully we have some teams competing!
Saturday games commence at 2pm at all venues. Be great to see all players and supporters back at the Club about 6pm on Saturday to relive their highs and lows of the week. Of course we have the eagerly awaited 2nd test match against the Boks to look forward to on Saturday night as well.
A big thanks to Jason Kay for offering to do tournament control at home for the E grade men's comp.
Open Interclub
Tuesday week 20th July - advance notice. Our guys are in the Open interclub final playing Remuera at Herne Bay from 7pm.
Come along and watch some world class squash and see our boys bring home the pennant!
Cox's Bay Tree Planting day
For those Club members who live on or are close to the reserve, please check out the link below for a tree planting day this Sunday and again on Sunday 29th August. It is a great opportunity to give something back to our local community.
The Cox's Bay Advisory Group has been very supportive of our Club and our recent application for an additional tennis court - so it would be good if a member or two of our Club fronted on Sunday morning.
