Presidents note

This is an important communication to all members so please take the time to read it. The Club is holding a "casino" night on Friday July 30 - a major fund raising initiative for the purpose of upgrading our kitchen facilities. Details follow below - I urge all members to get behind this night.

Please note that the Club will NOT be open this Saturday night for rugby, due to a private function.

Major Club fundraiser

Unlimited Potential is underwriting this event which is professionally delivered by an event company, Las Vegas Productions.

It promises to be an excellent night and your ticket entitles you to $1,000,000 of chips. We can all have a bit of fun and live like the rich and famous for a couple of hours!

Tickets are $25 and are on sale now at the bar.

On the night there will be a number of major prizes for the most successful punters, and we will also be running silent auctions and mystery envelope prizes.

We need members and local businesses to get behind the Club and are seeking donations. We already have a couple of major prizes locked down but to maximize the success of the night we need about 50 prizes total. These could range from mystery envelope type prizes with a retail value of about $70 or major donations of $200 or more, of product suitable for auction and/or major prizes.

A number of members are putting in some big yards on behalf of the Club and I urge all of you to get behind them. We are targeting $10,000 but this will only happen if it is a full Club effort.

Are you personally, or is your business, or another business you know of, in a position to donate a prize for the night? If so please contact Leanne in the office. She will be running a master file of donators and we will also be acknowledging any support on our website leading up to the event - as well as on the night.

Please indicate your ability to assist at the earliest possible opportunity….we don't want to leave things until the eleventh hour so would appreciate any offer of assistance preferably by 16 July, but no later than 23 July.

It's a big opportunity for the Club to have an enjoyable night for all members to experience plus raise some valuable funds. Please get behind it.
