Summer Tennis League
If you're interested in getting a few more games in this summer with people at your level, sign up for the new Tennis League!
From October we'll be running a tennis league table (just like the squash one for those in the know). Basically you play 3 games each month whenever suits you, with others who are at your level.. and all levels are welcome.
This will start from 1 October and registration closes 5pm on Friday 25th Sept. The details are:
- Entrants will be ranked by grade/ability and 4 people assigned to each League group. You will play each member, ie 3 matches, in each calendar month, at a time that suits you.
- At the end of each month the top player in each group goes up to the next level, the bottom player goes down and the middle two stay the same.
- If 2 players have the same number of wins, the head to head result decides who goes up and who goes down.
- In consideration of court availability, you will play only one super set of first to 9 games, win by 2. If 8-8 play a normal tiebreak to 7 to decide the game.
Entry fee is $5 per month (or $35 paid up until April), payable at the bar. Spot prizes will be drawn each month.
