BALLKIDS URGENTLY REQUIRED FOR 2010 TOURNAMENTS

 

 

Want to get up close with some of the world's top tennis players?

Want to have a fun 2 weeks in early January 2010?

Are you 11 years or older?

 

Then apply for selection as a Ballkid

 

Tennis Auckland is seeking applications for positions at the next International Tournaments to be held at the ASB Tennis Centre, 1 Tennis Lane, Auckland

 

ASB Classic (Women's Event)

4 January 2010 to 9 January 2010

 

Heineken Open (Men's Event)

11 January to 16 January 2010

 

Applicants need to be available from the first day of qualifying on the Saturday prior.  They do not need to have had prior ball kid experience. Training and selection will be done over 4 or 5 sessions held from October to December. Sessions are held after school at the ASB Tennis Centre.

 

Successful applicants need ball handling skills, ability to learn quickly, good personality, and the ability to work well within a team.

Successful trainees could apply for either or both tournaments
