Pat moving on......

Anyone reading these newsletters will be aware that Pat Milliner has decided to move on and will be ending a working relationship with the club that dates back to the sixties. She will be missed.  About nine months ago Peter Cross went to interview Pat about her involvement with the club and much else.   Here is his write up of that meeting.

Tennis this week:

L’Authentique is excited to be involved again in the HBPRC French Open, Saturday 9 June!

It's time for our first themed Grand Slam club event of the year, an afternoon of round robin social doubles with the chance to get in costume and transform the atmosphere into something semi-remotely appropriate for the greatest clay court event of them all, Roland Garros.

We have decided to throw caution to the wind and spice up the event a little more this year with a selection of spot prizes for best dressed and winners, including very French sausages, parfait and a special little boudin noir courtesy of specialist charcuterie L'Authentique. So get creative with your best French-themed outfit and make sure you're in attendance for an afternoon of Gallic frivolity.

As this is a truely French Affair, every contestant will receive a complementary parfait to take home to their loved ones.

Date: Saturday 9th June Time: 1-4pm Entry Fee: $10 (includes food & prizes)

Pilates classes for teenage girls

pilates-teenagers

This class has been made for a group of teenage girls and possibly their mums.  Would you like to join in?  Do you have a daughter that may be interested in strengthening her core and gaining more muscle and flexibility?

It will initially be a beginners level class as we always need to cover the basics but I'm sure it won't take long for these young women to want to take on more challenges very quickly.

Simply text to book on 029 6277 437.
